Terms of Business – Zoe Payne | Professional CV Coach
Last Updated: 26/04/2025
By purchasing a service from Professional CV Coach, you agree to the following Terms of Business. These terms are designed to protect both you as a client and us as the service provider.
1. Services Provided
Professional CV Coach provides CV and cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimisation, interview coaching, and career consultancy services. The scope of each package is clearly outlined at the time of purchase.
2. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best outcome, clients agree to:
-
Provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information.
-
Respond to communication within a reasonable timeframe (7 days unless otherwise agreed).
-
Review drafts promptly and provide constructive feedback to progress the service. Failure to respond within 14 days may result in work being paused or considered complete.
3. Turnaround Times
Turnaround times vary by package and begin once full client information has been received. Delays in providing requested information or feedback may impact delivery dates and are not grounds for refunds.
4. Revisions
All packages include one or more rounds of revisions (as stated at the point of purchase). Revisions must be requested within 14 days of receiving the first draft unless otherwise agreed in writing. Revisions are intended to refine the draft and do not cover complete rewrites unless agreed upon due to an error on our part.
5. Acceptance of Work
Once a final version is approved or if no revision feedback is received within 14 days of a draft being sent, the work will be deemed accepted and the project closed. No further changes will be made unless new terms are agreed.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the bespoke nature of our services, no refunds are offered under any circumstances once payment has been made and work has commenced. This includes situations where a draft has been delivered, regardless of client feedback or satisfaction.
Clients are encouraged to use the included revision process to request changes and ensure the final product meets expectations. All concerns must be raised during the revision stage. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy in full.
7. Reasonable Expectations
While we aim to produce high-quality, professional documents tailored to your career goals, we do not guarantee interviews or job offers. We are not responsible for third-party feedback (e.g. from potential employers) or the outcome of any application process.
8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
-
Errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
-
Delays caused by lack of communication or missed meetings.
-
Losses incurred as a result of using the documents provided.
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the service.
9. Intellectual Property
All documents created remain the intellectual property of Professional CV Coach until full payment has been received. Clients are granted a licence to use the documents for personal, non-commercial use.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, you must raise it in writing via email within 14 days of receiving your draft. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the matter. Escalated complaints may be referred to a third-party mediator if necessary.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
